CORRESPONDENCE
There was no correspondence.
OLD BUSINESS
Rudy, President, requested that the secretary send a thank-you letter to the Elks Lodge for use of their facility for our Swap Fest.
Ralph Waddups, VP, said that we have two new Radio Technician class operators because of testing administered during the Swap Fest.
Ralph presented a report on his findings regarding issues discussed earlier. He reported that through his research he was able to verify that we incorporated in 1957 to become TSARC, Inc. and that we are the owners of that name and have the legal right to use it. (Ralph’s detailed research will be filed with the minutes.)
Rudy asked that we now put this to rest and get on with the club’s mission.
NEW BUSINESS
Bob Ross, treasurer, said he learned that TSARC, Inc. could take advantage of no fee checking account with First Community Bank, saving the monthly fee previously being charged. He made a motion to change to the no-fee account, Ron Morton seconded. Motion passed.
Field Day to be held the last weekend in June was discussed. The Elks Lodge would be good location for this event all agreed because of its close proximity to restrooms, restaurant, shade, and could be used for overnight activities. The Charro Club shoud be invited. TSARC, Inc. will put up a station for this event.
The meeting adjourned at 7:15 p.m.
Respectfully submitted, /s/ Carolyn Ross, secretary
